Overview
Launched in March 2023, Jordan's eVisa lets citizens of more than 120 countries apply entirely online through the Ministry of Interior's own portal — no embassy visit needed. You register, complete the form, upload documents, and pay online, with approval typically arriving within 3–5 business days. Foreign visitors are now automatically granted a 90-day stay on arrival, whether entering with an eVisa or a standard visa. A number of nationalities (including several with restricted eligibility) instead need a visa on arrival or a full embassy application — check your specific status before applying.
Visa categories
| eVisa — single entry | Roughly $56 USD, standard tourist route for eligible nationalities. |
|---|---|
| eVisa — multiple entry | Roughly $124 USD equivalent, for repeated visits. |
| Visa on arrival / embassy visa | For nationalities not eligible for the eVisa, or with restricted status. |
