Nigeria Visa — Apply Yourself for an e-Visa

Direct Apply — for eligible nationalities Issuing authority: Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

Overview

The Nigeria Immigration Service runs a self-service e-Visa system at evisa.immigration.gov.ng, letting eligible travelers apply, pay and receive their visa entirely online, without visiting an embassy. A simplified process was rolled out in July 2024. Some nationalities aren't offered the e-Visa route at all and must instead apply at a Nigerian embassy or consulate — check the current eligible list before starting.

Watch for lookalike sites. Numerous commercial "Nigeria e-Visa" sites charge a markup for a form that's free to complete yourself on the government's own portal.
